No need to book in advance, our fully accessible trains run every few minutes during high season.

If you are visiting Aberystwyth, and want to take in everything Constitution Hill has to offer, our fully accessible trains operate from 10.00am to 5.00pm during the high season, with no booking required. Opening times

The Cliff Railway train timetable is 10.00am to 5.00pm, 7 days a week from April to October, and often later (till 6pm) during the high season. Our opening times may also be extended to support special events.

Out of season (November to mid-March), the trains run to a limited timetable, so please call us on 01970 617642 to find out the latest details, or alternatively check out our noticeboard or Facebook page for day to day details.

  • The cafe is open daily from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Last orders for meals 4.15pm.
  • The camera obscura is open daily from 11.00am till 5.00pm. Adults – £1 entry, children free, if accompanied by adult. Last entry 4.45pm.
  • Indoor and outdoor games are open daily from 10.00am till 4.30pm. Last entry 4.15pm, 4.30pm for miniature golf.

All areas are fully accessible. Please see below for train fares, season tickets are also available.

Please note: Dogs are welcome on the trains and across the site. As a courtesy, we only ask that they are well managed and any fouling is taken care of by the owner/handler.

Booking

There’s no need to book in advance, just pop up to the ticket office, and hop onboard. With trains running every few minutes, you can let the train take you to one of the best views in Wales. Once you are at the summit, there’s loads to see and do, from Y Consti cafe and restaurant, to the camera obscura to any number of indoor and outdoor games.
